| Saraca indica is an evergreen tree. It is very popular in India and is native to India. In India, it has been used as ayurvedic traditional medicine as well as it is known to be sacred and is used in religious ceremonies. Saraca indica has been greatly used as traditional medicine for women related problems, such as leucorrhoea, menorrhagia, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, bleeding hemorrhoids and etc. It is majorly found in Western Ghats, Central and Eastern Himalayas, and Deccan. |
